Description The University of Mississippi School of Health Related Professions offers a 2 year, upper division program in health informatics and  information management. Completion of the program leads to a baccalaureate degree and eligibility for the national credentialing exam to become a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).

UMMC Program Update: 

Senior HIIM Students from UMMC attend the 2010 MSHIMA Annual Meeting.

Senior HIIM students from UMMC displayed posters during the Jackson/Vicksburg Coucil's HI&T Event on November 6, 2009. Their posters covered issues such as documentation legibility, the DHA BLUES Project, ASC vs. APC reimbursement, myPHR and workflow analysis.
